Why I'm fundraising

Please Read….. This March, I’m taking on 150km for the 150 children born with NF in Australia each year and last year one precious little boy, FELIX, who means the world to me became one of those 150. Iain’s Grandson Felix was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) last year and whilst we were lucky enough to be there for his diagnosis, sadly we cannot be there as often as we would like so the support this foundation has given and will continue to give to our family is priceless. I’m taking part in Step Up for NF to support the Children’s Tumour Foundation and everyone affected by neurofibromatosis (NF). More than 13,000 Australians live with this complex genetic condition, which can cause tumours to grow on nerves throughout the body. I’m stepping up because tumours shouldn’t be anyone’s normal, especially childrens! My goal is to raise {$500} to increase awareness and help the Children’s Tumour Foundation provide the support, information and advocacy that families rely on. Your donation, big or small, helps people living with NF get the care and guidance they need. Together, we can turn every step into real change for the NF community.
