Why I'm fundraising

Hi everyone! Many of you know me as Lisa No Licence or Alicia, what you might not know is that I’m one of the 13,000 Australians living with Neurofibromatosis (NF). NF is a complex genetic condition that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. These tumors can lead to a wide range of significant health challenges, including blindness, deafness, bone abnormalities, chronic pain, as well as learning difficulties and an increased risk of cancer. That’s why this March I’m Stepping Up for the 150 kids born with NF each year and completing a 150km hike in hopes to raise $500 for the Children’s Tumour Foundation who provide life-changing advocacy and care. I’m doing the distance in drag to make sure NF gets the spotlight it deserves. Any contribution you can make would mean the world to me ❤️
