Why are we fundraising

I am a part of the "Community Bank Sydney Move8" team and we will Walk for the 150 children born with NF in Australia each year! On 27 May 2025, we will start and end at the Community Bank Darling Square Bendigo Bank branch at 11 Little Pier St, Haymarket NSW 2000 (opposite Novotel Darling Square). Meeting at 6.00pm for a 6.30pm start, we will set off on a 3KM Move8 Inclusive Walk around Sydney Chinatown then meet back at the bank's gallery for refreshments. It's not about the distance or the speed of completion here, but about our collective IMPACT! Move8.org is a fitness advocacy platform that promotes inclusive sports, accessible sports for all! We're participating in Step Up for NF in support of the Children's Tumour Foundation (CTF) and those impacted by neurofibromatosis (NF) in Australia. More than 13,000 people across Australia are impacted by this rare and complex genetic condition that causes tumours to form around nerves, under the skin and deep in the body. We're stepping up for NF because we believe tumours should never be a person’s normal. We have a goal to raise {$500} to grow awareness of this condition and raise funds to improve health outcomes. Please support us, because together, small steps can be transformed into huge strides in the advancement of care for those living with NF.
